There is a practice for you.
We hope you will join us in making each practice your own and that’s why we offer several types of classes, each with it’s own intention, impact and set of expectations.
Breathe, stretch and Flow
beginner friendly

This class intends to offer a space for beginners and less practiced yogis or those desiring a gentler pace. It will also help with your comfort level in practicing in a yoga studio setting.

This practice brings the breath into your mind and connects both to your physical movements. The impact is a newly found connection or a nourishment of the existing while stretching and strengthening the body.

Expect a slow gentle flow with more detailed cueing while learning core yoga concepts. You will have a chance to align your body and express the pose in the form that fits you.

Slow Flow

The intention of this class is to wake your full body into slower movement before ending in restorative poses.

This practice will impact your mind, body, and breath connection by allowing you to slow down and bring in embodiment so that you feel present and grounded. The slow fluid movements and restorative postures give your body a sense of relaxed energy.

In this class you can expect a sequence of slower movements in tandem with the breath. The beginning consists of a slow awakening of the body. In the middle, expect a flow of poses transitioning from one to the other with the breath as the guide. We will end the practice in poses with longer holds to support and calm your body and mind into a state of relaxation. Meditation and breathwork techniques may also be included. Modifications will be offered.
The Basics
beginner friendly

This class intends to teach the basics of yoga asanas (poses), breathwork, and meditation.

Use this practice to help you gain the knowledge to build your confidence in your own yoga practice.

Expect each class to be different as you learn 2-3 poses per class with a mix of breathwork and meditation. We will have open conversation as we practice the poses. And we won’t forget to end with Savasana!
Yoga Pulse
advanced beginner friendly

This class intends to test your own power by bringing more movement to your body. It revs you up and then allows your body to rest and soak in the new-found strength and openess.

Through the mind, body, breath connection, your confidence and inner strength will have the chance to grow. The physical body will be impacted as you increase your cardiovascular endurance and strengthen your body.

Expect movement in postures to strengthen your muscles. Add in a mix of some additional fun cardio to increase your heart rate. End in restorative poses before finalizing your hour with savasana. You will feel invigorated both physically and mentally.
Vinyasa Yoga

This class intends to use the breath as a guide to both transition between poses and to discern the intensity of your practice.

The practice will impact the mind, body, breath connection as they are all brought into sync through rhythm and smooth transitions between postures. It will also have an impact on your endurance as you use the breath in judging your intensity.

Expect to have a unique experience with each class as teachers use their own creative expression which may include arm balances and inversions. Modifications will be offered.
Pranayama & Meditation

This class intends to teach you various techniques about the ancient science of lengthening our vital life force, our breath. It will use this knowledge with a gentle flow of movements to carry your practice through towards a final meditation.

The impact of this practice is in gaining knowledge surrounding different breathing techniques to carry you off your mat and into your everyday life.

Expect a gentle flow of movements guided by your breath and followed by a deep meditation.
Pilates Pulse

This class intends to use your body and light weights to create resistance. It will create a full body workout that will condition your muscles while focusing on core.

The Impact is a strengthening of your core muscles and gaining better balance, coordination, and posture.

Expect an upbeat class to music with lots of reps and great results.
Kids: 8-11 | Tweens: 12-14 | Teens: 15-17
Kids, Tweens & Teens

These classes intend to get kids moving and loving yoga from an early age. Most importantly, they will teach kids how to use their breath both during physical activity and in life as a tool to help manage every stage of childhood.

Kids, Tweens, and Teens yoga classes will develop the initial mind, body, and breath connection that they can grow and use through the different stages of life. The movement will start an early understanding of the importance and benefits of physical activity.

Expect classes designed specifically for each age grouping. Classes may consist of breathwork, partner poses, games, books, yoga flow sequences, or journaling.
Restorative Yoga

This class intends to live up to its name by restoring and relaxing the mind and body back into a calm state.

Your mindful breath will play a large part in connecting yourself to your center while your body grounds in restorative postures.

Expect to move into about 5 poses each held for 5-7 minutes and supported with props, such blocks and bolster pillows. You’ll walk away feeling relaxed and restored in your body and mind.
Chair Yoga
beginner friendly

To bring yoga to those with physical disabilities or aging bodies where a typical yoga class may be too challenging. It’s also a great class for beginners or those who prefer to focus on a gentle practice

This class will increase your mobility and strength and bring your mind to more body awareness.

Expect to use chairs for support to arrive into a pose while sitting and/or standing. Breathing exercises and meditation are also part of this practice.
Gentle Yoga
beginner friendly

This class is intended for anyone who needs a little rest and quiet from the busy pace of life. It’s also great for seniors, pregnant women, and those recovering from illness, injury or surgery.

The class is aimed at using gentle movements to be all-embracing and bring an impactful connection to every body regardless of age or present condition.

Expect a slower paced class with more instruction to make sure you get the most out of the poses. Guidance will be offered with props such as chairs, the wall, blocks, straps, and bolsters for support and to maximize your capacity. Class will end in deep relaxation.
We offer 2 free spaces in most classes.

Each class is $12/single class

We offer a 5 class pack and a 10 class pack. It is only for regular weekly classes and cannot be applied to special series or events. All of the packages are given a 6 month duration before it expires.
$55 for a 5 class pass ($11/class).

Join us for $48 per month for unlimited classes (6-month minimum). It is only for regular weekly classes and cannot be applied to special series or events. In addition, you'll get 4 guest passes with each renewal that can be used for anyone new to YFG.
Cancellation Policy
Yes, you can cancel. However, if you cancel within 1 hour of class time (or no-show), we will withhold your purchase fee and donate it to a non-profit organization. If you have a 5 or 10-class pass, 1 class will be deducted. For the Unlimited Class Pass, you will be charged an additional fee of $5/class for each class missed that month.
*Notice: If there are no sign ups for a class within 1 hour of the start time for that particular class, YFG and the teacher reserve the right to cancel that class.*
